The Tin Cup was held on the weekend with a small but quality field. This event had never been won by the same person more than once, and that continued once again as one of the rising stars of Queensland chess, Tony Zhong, scored a picket fence 6/6 to dominate the event.
This is an even more outstanding achievement when you consider that Tony is only in year 7, playing against a strong field including 2006 winner and CAQ President, Mark Stokes.
