Welcome to the Mueller Invitational for 2024. This year the hall at St Columban’s was unavailable, so Mueller have stepped up as hosts – a big thank you!
This event is open to schools from Bracken Ridge (North of Linkfield/Telegraph Road) to Caboolture.
When: Tuesday 22nd October
Where: Mueller College
Who: Students from Prep to Year 12.
Time: Registration from 8.45am, start at 9.30am. Finish approx. 2.15pm (allow to 2.30pm)
Cost: $24.00 per player, invoiced to the school post event (Includes GST). Where parents pay directly to Gardiner Chess, the cost is $27.00pp (inc GST).
This event will feature primary and secondary divisions, with players playing individually through the day, whilst generating a team score as well.
Please ensure registration is done either via the website link or by sending an excel spreadsheet to [email protected] no later than Friday 18th October!
As always, if anyone is sick, we please ask them to stay away from the event where possible.
Medals will be awarded for 1st to 3rd individuals and teams in each division, with merit ribbons to those individuals scoring 4.5/7 or higher.
Invoices will be sent to schools after the event takes place.
Please ensure that you have have read all the relevant policies and procedures below before entering the event.
This event is open to all school based players in the NSW Northern Rivers region and will see players compete against students born in their year, or as close as possible (some age groups may need to be combined).
This is always a great fun event to finish off the year.
Medals will be awarded for 1st to 3rd in each age category, and we will have Merit ribbons for those not receiving a medal yet scoring 4.5/7 or higher.

Welcome to the Brisbane Individual Age Championships for 2024. This is the largest event held in Brisbane each year and we would love for your school to be a part of it!

Who: Students from Prep to Year 12.

Cost: $24.00 per player, invoiced to the school post event (Includes GST). Where parents pay directly to Gardiner Chess, the cost is $27.00pp (inc GST).
This event will have multiple divisions – students will play against other students born in the same year as them, with divisions combined where necessary.
Please ensure registration is done either via the website link or by sending an excel spreadsheet to [email protected] no later than Monday 4th November!
As always, if anyone is sick, we please ask them to stay away from the event where possible.

Gardiner Chess is excited to present the Term 4 Brisbane One Day Challenge. This one day rapid event is perfect for juniors of all ages and abilities as there will be two divisions!
The OPEN division is for all rated players and for those trying hard to get a rating. The NOVICE division will be for unrated players only and is perfect for younger or newer players wanting to try a weekend tournament for the first time.
