Gardiner Chess run the Official Queensland Inter-School Chess Championships under licence from the Chess Association of Queensland. These events are held in terms 1-3 with State Finals being held in term four, and stretch from the NSW border through to Far North Queensland. Events in Toowoomba are run independently by the Toowoomba Chess Club, whilst there are currently no events in Western Queensland. Welcome to the term 2 Inter-School event for Sunshine Coast Schools. This event is open to players in years P – 12 with multiple divisions on the day to cater to all ages.
