The Gold Coast Open is one of the biggest events on the Australian chess calendar and is the flagship event of Queensland chess. Split across three divisions, there is something for everyone and we would love to see you come and be a part of that as we strive to beat our record from last year.
This year we have a new venue in the Nerang Bicentennial Community Centre, 833 Nerang Southport Road, Nerang.

- Round 3: Saturday 12.30pm

Rating Cut-Offs:
- Premier: Minimum 1700 ACF or 1800 FIDE
- Major: Under 1800 ACF
- Minor: Under 1200 ACF
