Welcome to the 2026 Term 4 – Brisbane North One Day Challenge
Gardiner Chess is excited to present this one day rapid event, perfect for juniors of all ages and abilities with two divisions!
- OPEN – For all rated players and those trying hard to get a rating
- NOVICE – For unrated players, perfect for newer players trying a weekend tournament for the first time
Event Details:
- When: Sunday 29th November
- Where: Venue TBA
- Time: 9.30am registration, 10.00am start, approx 4.00pm finish
- Cost: $45.00 per player
Tournament Details:
- Time Control: 15 minutes per player + 3 seconds per move
- Prizes:
- Open: 1st to 3rd place + 3 x Rating Groups
- Novice: 1st to 3rd + Other trophies
- All games submitted for Queensland Junior Rating
- More prizes added pending numbers
Registration closes Friday 27th November. No registrations will be accepted after this time.
