Gardiner Chess and Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School are pleased to present the inaugural
Lindisfarne Interschool Chess Invitational.
Schools from across the Tweed, the wider NSW–Queensland border community and surrounding regions
are invited to join us for a day of competitive interschool chess, bringing together students from Prep to
Year 12.
Hosted in Lindisfarne’s Senior Centre at their Terranora Campus, the tournament will include separate
Primary and Secondary divisions.
- Date – Wednesday, 25 November 2026
- Venue – Senior Centre – Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School, Mahers Lane, Terranora
- Participants – Students from Prep to Year 12
- Registration – Registration from 8:45 am
- Tournament – 9:30am – 2:15 pm
- Cost – $25.00 per player (inc. GST) when invoiced to the school following the event. Where parents register and pay directly through Gardiner Chess, the cost is $28.00 per player (inc. GST).

Tournament Format
Players will compete individually throughout the day across separate Primary and Secondary divisions, with
their results also contributing towards their school’s overall team score.
Awards
● Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed individuals and teams in each division.
● Merit ribbons will also be awarded to individual players who score 4.5/7 or higher.

Schools can register players via the event registration link or by submitting an Excel spreadsheet to

Invoices will be issued to schools following the event.
