The Queensland Junior Blitz Championship provides our youngsters a chance to test out their speed skills for an afternoon of fun blitz battle.
Split across two divisions (Under 18 and Under 12).
All players must be a member of the Chess Association of Queensland. Sign up here.
Incorporated into this event will be the Brisbane v Gold Coast match up, with the top 10 scores from forming the scores for each side.
- When: Sunday 30th October
- Where: William Duncan State School, Explorers Way, Highland Park
- Time: 12.00pm registration, finishing approx 4.30pm
- Time Control: 3 minutes + 2 seconds per move added
- Cost: $30.00 per player
- Prizes: $300/$200/$100 for Under 18. Trophies and age titles for all age groups.
